Erika Taylor Montgomery, CEO and Founder of Three Girls Media Inc., enjoyed an 18-year broadcasting career in the San Francisco Bay Area before transitioning to public relations and marketing. In 2005 Montgomery launched Three Girls Media, Inc. The firm specializes in working with companies of all sizes worldwide.
In 2019 Erika was named Boss Of The Year by the Thurston County Chamber and in 2020 she was named one of the Top 200 CEOs in America by CEO Monthly Magazine, Best Female Marketing & PR CEO from the Global CEO Excellence Awards and Best Female Marketing & PR CEO of the Year by the Global 100. So far in 2022 Erika has been named Best Female Marketing & PR CEO by M&A Magazine, Best Female Marketing & PR CEO of the Year by Global 100 and one of the 10 Most Innovative CEOs to Follow in 2022 by Success Pitchers magazine.
Erika is the coauthor of the bestselling book, “The Spirit of Silicon Valley – Journeys & Transformations Beyond Technology,” available on Amazon.com.
In addition, she was the creator and host of “PUNCH! Media & Marketing Made Easy,” a popular educational talk show on KDOW 1220am, The Wall Street Business Network. She also hosts the video program “The Business Pioneer Podcast,” where she interviews business owners, entrepreneurs, and C-suite executives about their successes and lessons learned.
As a journalist, Erika covered Bill Clinton’s presidential campaign, the San Francisco/Loma Prieta Earthquake of 1989 and the infamous Oakland Hills fire. She also enjoyed the lighter side of TV, hosting “The Simpsons” and “Star Trek” marathons for the WB network. Following her award-winning broadcasting career and prior to beginning Three Girls, Erika worked as Director of Media Relations for a prestigious Silicon Valley PR firm, where she managed campaigns for NBC and worked with the cast of “Will & Grace” and “Crossing Jordan.” She also spent several years working for the California State Legislature as a Press Secretary.
Erika’s personal media accomplishments include more than 5,000 media placements in outlets including The Wall Street Journal, InStyle, Oprah, USA Today, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Fox News, CNN and MSNBC, as well as international press throughout Europe, Mexico and Australia.
When she’s not in the office you can find Erika hanging out with Phoebe, Three Girls’ Office Greeter and her four-footed bestie, and cooking or baking. She also enjoys planting and caring for her large veggie garden, picking organic blackberries that surround her country property, Moose Hollow, and binge-watching TV shows like “Deadliest Catch,” “Top Chef” and “Project Runway.”
